The Institute for Solar technology SPF
The Institute for Solar Technology SPF was founded in 1981 and is part of the OST - Ostschweizer Fachhochschule in Rapperswil on Lake Zurich. It currently employs 40 people who run a broad-based research laboratory for renewable energies and an internationally accredited testing laboratory.
The SPF Institute is a driving force in the research and development of innovative components, systems and processes. The focus is on energy efficiency and renewable energies in general and solar heating and photovoltaics in particular.
As a motivated team, they are fully committed to innovative projects in the field of solar heating and photovoltaics to support the industry in product development and quality testing1.
The institute is based in Rapperswil and is an important player in the research and development of technologies for the use of renewable energies. It contributes to the development of sustainable solutions for energy supply and the reduction of environmental pollution.

OST Campus Switzerland
The Interstate University of Applied Sciences Buchs NTB began operations on November 9, 1970 as the Neu-Technikum Buchs.
It is part of the University of Applied Sciences Eastern Switzerland FHO. The sponsors are the cantons of St. Gallen and Graubünden and the Principality of Liechtenstein.
The OST Campus Buchs emerged from the NTB Interstate University of Applied Sciences Buchs.
On September 1, 2020, the universities of applied sciences FHG St. Gallen, HSR Rapperswil and NTB Buchs merged to form OST - Ostschweizer Fachhochschule.
SUPSI
The University of Applied Sciences of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI) is one of the nine universities recognized by the Universities of Applied Sciences recognized by the Swiss Confederation.

Sinovoltaics
Sinovoltaics is a company commissioned by the Munich Reinsurance Company. As an independent external company for quality assurance at the production site, Sinovoltaics' tasks include
- Pre-production factory audit (including follow-up and monitoring of corrective actions)
- Production monitoring of the modules during the production process (damage to the module and the cells)
- Production monitoring of the modules before loading using a 100% EL image monitoring system supported by an AI app.
- Monitoring of the loading process to prevent transport damage.
